First orthopedic duty. We need to be at Philippine Orthopedic Center by 7am. But when we got there the supervisor said that our group will be included in the second batch of orientation which is at 10am. GRRRRRR. Imagine waking up early for your first duty this 2011. Random.
After school, I helped my friend to look for a cheap plaque (of recognition. Haha.) So we walked along Recto Ave where a lot of this stuff is made. After that, I went home alone and when I checked my bag I noticed it was open. I didn’t worry much because there is nothing valuable inside my bag, but my perfume was lost. Nakakatawa lang na pati pabango eh nasnatch na din sa ‘kin.

Orthopedic Nursing
I don’t want to be an orthopaedic nurse. First, there are a lot of things to remember like tractions, casts, braces, and different orthopaedic hardware. Second, doing the tractions on a patient is very toxic. Even our instructors had a hard time doing it.
I think I want to be an OR nurse. I find it exciting and challenging. Seeing operations makes me say, “Wow,” “Ganun pala ‘yun,” “Yun pala yun.”

Lucky
I get angry when I don’t get what I want. Small problems easily bother me. I was not in the mood awhile ago, until I saw a child about 8 years of age walking and selling balot in the streets. I felt lucky and thought that I don’t have the right to be lonely because of the small problems that I have.
