My last IN week
Our institute celebrated its 56th anniversary week last January 16-20 2012. The student council prepared and conducted a lot of activities for us students to enjoy and participate in. In my four years in FEU, it is only this year that I have actively participated in such activities. Well, not through joining but in preparing and carrying out those activities. I have seen and experienced how hard it is to put up a project for the IN week. Actually, one of my tasks is to write letters for some things which will be needed for the IN Night/Shindig, but I don’t know that writing requests and getting it signed is too hard and TIRING. I just can’t imagine what the student council went through just to make the IN week possible.
Being part of the CPC (Creative Productions Committee) and ADHOC, I was assigned to head the technical aspect of the Shindig together with some CPC members. I was nervous and a little bit panicky during the program because I’m not sure if the music and videos will play at the right moment. Thank God for the skilled CPC members who helped me. The event was tiring. My energy was drained in running and bringing chairs from third floor to the quadrangle. But being part of the committee also have perks, we had a nice view of the entire program because we are in front of the grandstand and we are not tired from standing because we have seats.
Aside from the Shindig, the CPC also headed the Post Earth Poster Making competition. We are glad that a lot joined in the competition. Well, 16 participants are already many than our expected 5. Hahaha. Another CPC project was the Snapshot Photography contest, the contest which all participants came from our section. Hahaha.
I had a great time during the IN week. I’m sure that I’m going to miss this after college.
Go Batch 2012! Graduation is just a few weeks away! :D

Delusions of Grandeur: Taking the Step to Location Independence
“To study and get good grades so you can get a decent job and have a secure life? When did we stop our desire for the arts and our passions simply because people say there’s no money in it?”
I was totally moved by this. People should never stop chasing their dreams, no matter how big or small. Nothing is impossible if you believe in yourself. You don’t have to face the ‘reality’ when you can actually change it and make a difference.
Read this people!
"The Philippines is not a place to see; it’s a place to BE. It is a place to BE if you’re tired of the impersonal lifestyle that so much of the world has fallen into; if you seek natural adventures with nature with the most incredible and unique sights and wildlife still abound; when you want to find new friends who seek only your friendship in return; if you’re ready for lots of dancing, singing and reverie; if you want to reconnect with values of family, friendship and faith that much of the world seems to have forgotten; it is the place to feel alive again."
